Danny Morrison is a former New Zealand cricketer for the Black Caps.
He specialised as a pace bowler with a useful outswinger. He made his
Test debut for New Zealand in 1987 at the age of 21 against Australia.
His most notable bowling accomplishment occurred in March 1994, when
he took a hat-trick in a One Day International against India. He is
one of only two New Zealanders and twenty-one players worldwide to have
taken an ODI hat-trick.
These days he enjoys a media role commentating cricket on both television
and radio, he is a guest speaker and a qualified Level III cricket coach.
He is fondly remembered by his fans for his infectious grin and big-hearted
performances.
